Development of scientific basis of synthesis of hydrophilic functional polymers, the study of their structure, properties and proper biological activity. Study of reactions in chains of water-soluble polymers containing various functional groups both with model compounds and with low- and high-molecular weight biologically active compounds. The determination of relationship between the chemical structure and biological activity of functional polymers, the study of the effect of macromolecular nature and bond types on the biological properties of compounds modified by polymers.
